We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am on Warwick Square.

Church might be completely new to you - that's OK!

We understand that trying anything new can be a daunting experience so we have put together a few pointers or "frequently asked questions" telling you what to expect if you come along. We'd love you to join us on a Sunday morning.

Carlisle Baptist Church exists because of some GOOD NEWS!

Look around you. Our world is broken. Our relationships are painful. Our hearts are rebellious. We need help.

Jesus said "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matt 11:28)

and "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).

We think this is the best good news ever.

Knowing Jesus means knowing forgiveness, knowing real love, knowing new life.

Let us help you get to know him...

We meet on Warwick Square

On Sunday mornings drinks are served from 10.10 am but we start at 10.30 am for our main Sunday meeting with Sunday Club (for children) all followed by a cuppa.

Until recently we did meet at the Richard Rose Central Academy on Sunday mornings. This has had to change due to flood disruption, so currently all our regular meetings are taking place at our own church building on Warwick Square.

Our Vision... Connect Transform Send

Our Vision... Connect Transform Send

We want to connect people to Jesus and to each other.

We want to connect people to Jesus Christ as we explain who He is and what He has done.  Church connects people to each other and to Christ as we encourage, build up and serve one another.

Seeing Jesus transform individuals and our city.

We believe in the transforming power of the Gospel - the good news about Jesus. God by His Spirit is at work in the lives of His people transforming them. We believe that this power can transform individuals, neighbourhoods, our city and beyond.

Sending Christians out to live for Jesus.

God is a sending Father. He desires to send the church into the world in order to transform the culture. We aim not be a “holy huddle.”
We try to be a community acting like salt and light in the world, to live for Christ so that we can reach and build up others.
