When - Sunday @ 10.45am
Where - Creché room at Warwick Square
Age - 0 - 4
In creché we provide a safe, comfortable and fun place for children of preschool age to stay during the morning meeting. This is so that parents can benefit from the great bible teaching in the main meeting. We also take the opportunity to point our younger children and toddlers to Jesus as we sing songs, do craft, play together, read Bible stories and learn from God’s word. We hope that this will help children to grow up knowing all about God’s great love for them in Jesus.
When - Sunday @ 10.45am
Where - Various rooms at Warwick Square
Age - 4 - 11
Hold on to your hats, our aim in Sunday Club is to have the most fun ever as we learn all about Jesus. We are with the adults at the start of the main meeting, then leave for our own teaching as we look for ourselves how the whole bible points us to Jesus. In just one amazing morning we can be doing everything, from hunting hidden treasure to sharing tremendous tales, from investigating events to creating crazy crafts, all this and everything in-between.
You might like to email the Children's team so that we can know a little about your child(ren) before they arrive. We'd like that.
It is our policy that all of our Sunday Club and Youth leaders have up to date CRB/DBS checks in place for working with children and young people.

At Carlisle Baptist Church we believe that your time at University is a crucial time to grow as a Christian by playing an active part in the mission of a local church. We want to do all we can to help you make the most of this opportunity and to make sure you are strengthened in faith, stretched, trained and equipped through God’s word for a lifetime of serving Jesus in Carlisle and beyond.
Our priorities as a community of Christian people are evangelism, Bible teaching and training. There is a wide range of people who make up Carlisle Baptist Church, but we do aim to make it a great church family for students and international students who want to be taught, stretched and trained during their time in Carlisle and who want to play an active part in Christ’s work.
Our main church family meeting is where we hear and respond to God’s word together. As well as clear Bible teaching, singing and prayer, we also allow plenty of time to get to know each other over coffee.
One of our LifeGroups is specifically geared towards students and young adults and meets during term time.
The aim of this group is to stretch, train and equip each other in understanding the Bible and sharing the gospel with others while on campus and for a lifetime of serving Jesus and making disciples wherever you end up.
Student lunches happen every Sunday in October and regularly during term time after that. These are opportunities to get to know each other better and to get to know other members of our church family.

Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.
You won’t be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen. Each session lasts about 75 minutes.
Why not send us a message to find out more.
The Christianity Explored Course has been around for over a decade now, and it’s been designed to suit different age ranges and people.
